Yeasayer – “Ambling Alp”
I’ve been a bit hesitant to post anything about the new Yeasayer. Mostly because the Stereogum/Pitchfork types have already shot their proverbial collective load all over it — but whatever. I’ve been eating and breathing Odd Blood for a few weeks now, and you should be too. It is quite the impressive piece of work. And one of those rare gems that is pleasing both the indie and electro kids.
“Ambling Alp” might be the best video of 2009. With two days left in the year I can say that with some confidence.
